Welcome to Kusuridoki ("the app"). By using this app, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Description
Kusuridoki is a medication reminder and adherence tracking application. The app helps users manage medication schedules and allows caregivers to monitor adherence.
2. Medical Disclaimer
This app is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Kusuridoki is a tool to help you remember your medications. It does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist regarding your medications.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of medication information you enter
- You must not rely solely on this app for critical medication timing
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must not use the app for any unlawful purpose
4. Account and Data
- You may create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or anonymous authentication
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes all associated data
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms
5. Subscriptions and Purchases
- The app offers a free tier with advertisements
- Premium features may be offered in a future update
- Any future subscriptions will be managed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Refunds for any future purchases will be handled by the respective app store
6. Caregiver Features
- Patients explicitly consent to sharing medication status when creating a caregiver link
- Patients can revoke caregiver access at any time
- Caregivers must not misuse shared health information
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code of Kusuridoki are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kusuridoki and its developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to missed medication doses or health consequences.
9. Offline Functionality & Limitations
Kusuridoki is designed to work offline. Medication reminders and local data are fully functional without an internet connection. However, the following features require an active internet connection:
- Cloud backup and sync across devices
- Caregiver sharing and invite links
- Account sign-in and sign-out
- Ad display
We are not responsible for missed reminders caused by device settings (e.g., Do Not Disturb mode, battery optimization, notification permissions disabled) or device malfunction. It is your responsibility to ensure that notification permissions are enabled and that your device is functioning properly.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
